Shipping Policy – HVAC Direct USA

At HVAC Direct USA, we are committed to getting your heating and cooling solutions delivered safely and efficiently. Please review our shipping guidelines below to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Delivery Overview

  • Coverage: We offer shipping within the 48 contiguous United States.
  • Service Type: Our standard shipping applies to residential or business curbside delivery.
  • Processing Time: Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Weekend orders (Saturday/Sunday) begin processing the following business day.
  • Backorders: While we strive to maintain inventory, some items may be placed on backorder. If an item is on backorder, please allow a few extra days for processing.
  • Scheduling Installations: We highly recommend waiting until you have physically received and inspected your product before scheduling your installation or hiring a contractor.

Receiving Your Freight Shipment

Freight LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipping does not include inside delivery.

  • Lift Gate Service: This service is recommended for large items to help lower them from the truck to the ground. It is available for an additional fee, subject to availability at your local freight terminal.
  • Inspection is Mandatory: Before signing the delivery receipt:
    1. Count: Ensure the number of boxes matches the amount listed on the receipt.
    2. Inspect: Remove wrapping and boxes to thoroughly check for dents, scratches, or damage.
    3. Sign Carefully: Do not sign the receipt as "clear" until you have completed your inspection.

Handling Delivery Exceptions

  • Shortages: If the item count does not match the receipt, mark the receipt "Short" and note the missing items. We will coordinate with the carrier to track them.
  • Damaged Packaging: If the shrink wrap is torn or has been replaced, mark the receipt "Wrap Broken."
  • Damaged Goods: If damage is discovered, please accept the delivery but note the damage on the receipt and contact our customer service team within 3 business days to initiate a replacement.
  • Reporting: Missing or incorrect items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Returns

  • Return Window: You may return your unopened order within 30 days of delivery.
  • Fees: Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Please ensure you retain the original packaging for any potential return.
